APWA Project of the Year, 2015

San Ysidro US Land Port of Entry (Miller Hull Partnership) has been awarded APWA ‘s prestigious Project of the Year award. Each year, the APWA Awards Program recognizes outstanding projects that represent the best in the public works profession.

The busiest border crossing in the world, SYLPOE serves over 100,000 people each day. Providing MEP engineering, energy, fire/life safety, building technologies, and sustainable design services, Interface implemented numerous integrated systems that capitalize on the site’s natural resources. Phase 1 of the project has been completed and was recently certified LEED Platinum.
