Contextual Design and Preservation on DC commercial corridor.
Congratulations to Perkins Eastman and rest of the team for Collection 14 a 2022 CNU Charter Award Winner in the Block, Street, and Building category. Noting that the design is sensitive to the context and spirit of the place, Collection 14 creatively builds over and around existing main street buildings preserving the urban fabric. Located on a three-quarters-of-an-acre site, the project includes 25,000 square feet of retail, 6,000 square feet of office, a 3,000 square foot event space, and 233 apartments.
