Designing for Current and Projected Colorado Grid Emission Scenarios

Kyleen Rockwell PE, AIA, LEED AP BD+C will present at the USGBC Colorado’s Spring Summit in Denver, May 24, 2023. In a rapid-fire style, Kyleen will demonstrate an established workflow with an electrification case study of a hotel that utilized hourly carbon dioxide equivalency to inform system selections; evaluated on an energy, energy cost and carbon basis.

Attendees will earn 2.5 GBCI CE’s and AIA LU’s for the half day of learning, connecting and exploring the future of sustainable buildings in Colorado. Other topics include:

  • Which water-saving strategies and policies can be used in real estate to save money and generate long-term value for all?
  • What is Colorado’s path to low carbon and model green codes?
  • How can we make sense of sustainable materials and support manufacturers who are reducing emissions?
