Interface Milestones

We are thrilled to celebrate the anniversaries of four remarkably talented team members — Glen Walson (Associate, BIM Manager), Ellen Onstad (Sr. Project Team Coordinator), Dominador Abuel (Associate, Sr. Electrical Designer), and Sepideh Sheybani (Sr. Electrical Engineer).

Principal Joe Schmid shares:

It’s hard to believe that when Glen joined Interface 15 years ago, Revit was still fairly new and not yet widely adopted in the MEP/AEC space. Glen’s leadership was largely responsible for Interface’s success in making the transition from CAD to BIM/Revit, and he’s been a key part of our success since. He has had a hand in developing most of our Revit tools and families, training our BIM modelers, coordinating standards/processes between disciplines, and assisting with many of our large or complex projects. He has also represented Interface by speaking at a number of BIM conferences. I’ve enjoyed collaborating with Glen over the years and am excited about where our BIM program and company are headed. Congratulations on your 15-year anniversary, Glen!

Principal Jim McClelland shares:

Throughout the last five years, Ellen has been an outstanding example of dedication and professionalism. Her unwavering commitment and consistent reliability have been invaluable assets for our team and others. Ellen’s positive attitude and willingness to lend a helping hand have made our workplace both more productive and a joy to be a part of. Here’s to Ellen for reaching this milestone and to many more years of shared successes. Congratulations, Ellen, and thank you for all you do!

Principal Wesley Lau shares:

Dominador has had a critical role on our team since the day he started. For as long as I’ve known him, he has given 110% to the team and all of his projects, and has always been willing to take on whatever, whenever. His can-do attitude and tireless work ethic have been crucial to our team’s success these past years. He is also always willing to share his time and expertise with the junior designers. Congratulations, Dom, on your 5 years and looking forward to the next 5 together!

Principal Eugene de Souza shares:

Sepideh has been an invaluable member of the Los Angeles Office from the day that she joined us 5 years ago. She has worked on numerous challenging multi-disciplinary projects along the way, and has grown technically. Sepideh always has a positive attitude and gives 110%. She is willing to take on any task, figure out what’s required, is thorough, technically sound, reliable, well organized, and an absolute pleasure to work with.

She continues to impress her peers, clients, and the leadership from other Interface offices with her responsiveness, and attention to detail. Sepideh is an asset to Interface, and epitomizes a great engineer. I look forward to working alongside you for many years to come.
