Lunchtime Learning: Biomimetic Solutions
May 25, 2018
Join AIA|DC and Managing Principal Roger Frechette to discuss applications of biomimetic design. Biomimetic problem solving is a technique for studying design solutions found in nature and applying similar principles in the design or architectural and engineering systems for modern buildings. Data from several biomimetic solutions already in use will provide some tangible evidence of effectiveness and lessons learned. Additionally, examples of planned usage will be analyzed.
