Michael Flemming presents at ASHRAE 2022 Conference

Michael Flemming, P.E., Interface Engineering, San Francisco, will be presenting "Commissioning and Training: Setting the Foundation for Success" in-person Sunday, June 26 2:30 PM – 2:50 PM EDT at the 2022 ASHRAE Annual Conference.

Too often, buildings designed to be high-performance end up falling short of energy and comfort goals. As buildings move towards all-electric systems to meet decarbonization goals, often issues can be traced back to O&M staff not understanding their systems or inheriting problems missed during construction. This presentation will focus on the importance of commissioning, as well as the importance of concise, well developed training materials to provide O&M staff the tools required to both operate and maintain their system, with a focus on passing on lessons learned from commissioning and developing usable training material for current and future staff.

The 2022 ASHRAE Annual Conference will be a hybrid experience, offering both in-person and virtual options for attendees.
