Walter Taylor Award, 2015

Tesla STEM School

May 28, 2015

Lake Washington School District’s Tesla STEM School (Integrus Architecture) has been awarded the Walter Taylor Award from the American Association of School Administrators, which recognizes school projects that overcame difficult design challenges in order to deliver outstanding educational environments. Providing a pre-professional environment for students as they transition from high school to college or the working world, the STEM school was built using 158 prefabricated modular units that were quickly assembled on site to meet the tight construction schedule. Congratulations to the design team on this remarkable achievement. Read more about the project in the Daily Journal of Commerce.
