Advantis Credit Union’s idyllic new headquarters campus is designed to honor the area’s agricultural roots.
The open office spaces throughout each building feature extensive exposed mass timber and CLT elements. This meant closely coordinating (and hiding in many cases) the distribution of piping, ductwork, and fan coils in the interior of the building to let the building structure be the focus. Sustainability efforts were guided by WELL Building and LEED, met Oregon’s Path to Net Zero principles, and exceeded the AIA 2030 challenge goals for energy reduction. Among the many energy-efficient solutions, rooftop photovoltaic arrays account for nearly 75% of electricity use.
