Armature Works consists of three adjacent 12-story towers comprising 1,007,717 square feet of space. The project features the luxury boutique hotel, The Morrow Washington, with 203 keys, 10,000 square feet of meeting space, a signature restaurant on the ground floor and a rooftop venue. The other buildings include 200 condominium units, 450 rental apartments, 50,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, and public as well as private parking.
The structures were built alongside the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro station. The superstructure is cast in place concrete, and the site required an 800-foot-long retaining wall on its west edge against the railroad ‘right of way’.
