Park Avenue West
The Park Avenue West tower has changed the Portland skyline. At 30 stories, the tower is one of the tallest in the city.
The distinctive, needle-shaped building will contain apartments, retail, offices, a fitness center, and underground parking. The owners, TMT Development, were committed to exploring green options for this building. The building, on track to achieve LEED Platinum certification, is designed with a rainwater harvesting system and incorporates regional building materials. Interface designed a radiant slab heating/cooling system for the ground-floor lobby, a rainwater harvesting system capable of holding 24,000 gallons, and automatic lighting controls that includes occupancy sensors for the parking garage and stairwells.
