King County's Solid Waste Division is constructing a new $88 million transfer and recycling station in Tukwila. The new facility will be innovative, economical, and is designed to serve the County's needs for 40+ years. The facility includes two 90-ton compactors, a bailer and floor conveyor system, a new fueling station, a scale house, conference areas, and various employee spaces.

Interface provided electrical engineering, low-voltage design, fire protection, SCADA, and energy modeling services. We also designed a PV system that spans the roof of the administrative building, and provides a portion of the buildings' regulated electric power.
