Renaissance District Master Plan
South Bend, Indiana
Client: Lonewolf Construction
Building Size: 1.3 million sf
Project Cost: $14 million
This multiphase project is a renovation of one of the former Studebaker automobile factory buildings into a new mixed-use development. HVAC design consists of water source VRF systems for the interior of the building and heating hot water along the perimeter.
The hydronic system within this building connected into a campus condenser water loop designed to have a central heat rejection system and multiple heat sources including waste heat from the data center operations else where on campus. This campus loop is being designed to serve up to one million square feet.
