Fred Meyer & Krogers Shopping Centers
Interface has a long history of working with Fred Meyer and Krogers, having provided MEP and specialty services for this major shopping chain for 40 years.
For over 40 years, Interface has provided HVAC, plumbing, lighting and power distribution design, research and development, energy-management and alarms and emergency power generator system design for this major shopping center chain. Departments for which we have performed systems design include grocery, refrigeration, various retail departments, tenant areas, computer applications and energy management systems.
Interface contributed mechanical, electrical, plumbing and lighting design specifications for Fred Meyer’s latest retail store in Portland being constructed at NW Burnside near Portland’s soccer stadium. This extensive renovation and addition required detailed coordination with the architect, city, neighborhood organizations, and the acoustical engineer.
