UC Merced nearly doubled their campus’ capacity. The expansion added 1.2 million gross square feet of teaching research, laboratories, student housing, dining and student-support facilities to the existing campus. Eleven buildings are LEED Platinum Certified making UC Merced the first public university in the U.S. to achieve this level of sustainability.
